With a stunning new, all-carbon chassis the One-Forty 6000 represents a leap forwards in what you should expect your trail bike to be capable of. Radical new geometry delivers the goods on the most technical climbs or the toughest descents, with sizing perfectly tuned to what the rider wants. The 29er wheels work in perfect harmony with FAST kinematic suspension with Fox shock and 150mm Marzocchi fork.

The new Merida One-Forty is the ultimate trail bike, made for the toughest trails in the world. It's the pinnacle of modern trail riding, with a super-steep 80 ° seat angle, low front end and bottom bracket allow it to clear the most technical climbs, while longer reach figures across all sizes and a well-balanced 65 ° head angle mean it's still more than capable of ripping any descent. With Merida's new Agilometer sizing system, riders can run a longer or shorter reach frame independently of their height, with suspension that becomes more progressive as you size up to better cope with heavier/harder riders. Merida's engineers have focussed on weight reduction and rolling speed too, for improved efficiency. All bikes come with long travel dropper posts, Wire Port cable routing and a reliable threaded bottom bracket plus carbon frame models have on-board tool storage and FidLock magnetic bottle cages.

Merida's latest range of mountain bikes makes use of a slightly new approach to sizing. Merida encourage riders to consider their riding style when selecting a frame size. 

For example the Mid size frame is suitable for riders of heights between 165-185cm. This means a rider of height 175cm could select a Short frame if the preference is agility, Mid for a balanced ride or Long for stability.
